Life is good!

My poor Tali is not sure whether to accept the invitation to attend a magnet school or attend the nearby high school she knows she will be able to play on a semi-competitive volleyball team. I told her that in my experience...always go with education first because you don't always know if an injury can put you out of the game altogether! I sure hope I am giving her the best advice. As for Josh, well, only time will tell if you will out grow his rebellious teen years. I hope I can look back on these days and know with great certainty that he was just testing his limits and he came out GREAT! I guess all I can do for now is place him in God's hands and pray that he watch over him whenever I am not near. As a parent, I completely understand that he could be doing far worst, but I would also like it if he would just give me a little break from the stress and worrying. I sure do love this kid! He gave me roses and a card on Friday telling me how much he loves me and appreciates everything that we do for him! That did make my day...really my year!

It's been awhile

Well, I haven't posted anything in some time, but it's because I allowed life to get in the way. Since my last post; my little man is now 2 and we have a new addition to our family! Boy time sure does fly when you're having fun. Our oldest will graduate from high school this semester and, our little princess will turn 1. God is good.

Peek-A-Boo

Today is Aiden's 15mth. birthday! My little guy has grown so fast. As I head back to work on Monday, he will start is 3rd week of daycare. Attending daycare has been tough on him since he was at home for the 1st year of his life and mommy had to have the crazy idea of "socializing" him. After my workout today, Aiden decided that he had to take a shower and Mom could just wait a little longer.

1ST BIRTHDAY!!!

We just completed our first milestone! Aiden turned 1 and he had a blast celebrating with loved ones. He sure loved eating his very own piece of cake. Time sure does fly! How can I forget when my other kiddos have grown up in the blink of an eye. Aiden is now 27lbs, 33 1/2 inches tall and on the road to walking. He has only taken two steps and I am sad to say that is all. There are many occasions when you will find him standing by himself and when he realizes what he has done --he sits down really fast. His facial expression tells it all ... I hope no one saw that because being carried sure is the way to go. Even though I don't want him to grow up fast, I can't wait to see him walk and get into all sorts of funny mischief.

We had a wonderful time during Easter. Spending time with our friends and family is always a blessing. Aiden is 3 days away from his 11 month birthday. He really enjoyed spending time with his cousins and as always, Josh and Tali spoiled him rotten. Aiden is sampling different foods such as, spanish rice, chicken, turkey, pickles, and bread.

Saturday, 03/07/2009 was my very first bike ride. Daddy loves spending time with me on his day off and wants me to love the outdoors just as much as he does. After a 30 minute bike ride, I was definitely exhausted and fell asleep during the ride. Can't wait until our next day out. My daddy is the coolest! Thanks dad for spending time with me.

Check out my blue suede shoes

Aiden has been crawling all over the house and pulling himself up from from the floor by grabbing onto the edge of the couches to stand; we decided now is the time to get walking shoes. He isn't walking yet, but there are times when he stretches out his arms, letting go of the couch, and oops he is on the floor. It was really fun to shop for shoes! We looked at Pumas, Nike, Sketchers, Stride Rite, Vans, and Converse. The selection of shoes was a bit overwhelming ... he is only 9 months old. I settled on Nike and Puma shoes. Once he starts walking we will switch to the Stride Rite shoes. I used Stride Rite shoes for my other kiddos and I loved them!
